oh ya... she was tellin mi abt how guys nowadays propose to their gfs... instead of sayin stuff like "wil u pls marry mi" etc. they now say things like "do you want to buy a hdb flat with me?"

and so she concluded the topic by tellin mi if my future bf ever say stuff like tis i shld object...

kukup trip~ (6 - 7 Jan)

all thanks to lilian who initated this askin if anyone was onz... n surprisingly.. the turnout fer the trip is very good! 20 people!! =D
so in the end, we split into 2 vans.. 10-10 each... just nice =P (tho the van can still take like 2 more person each actually)

van1 people departed from woodlands.. their van is the one that ran on techno songs... lol... pom chi pom chi pom chi... =X despite they left the place later... they managed to caught up wif us van2. reason? u'll find out why later.

van2 people departed from amk... we're quite on time... which is wow~ (yeah cuz co ppl seem to have a tendency to be late... eh.. dunno why... it runs innately in our blood) yup.. and our van runs on... old songs... hahaha... whoopz...

when we reached johor.. n after havin our breakfast blah blah... i realised that our driver is always tryin to catch up wif the van1... i at 1st tot our driver will chiong alot (he look like he will chiong... written all over his face n clothes? but the van1 one more powerful) and perhaps also becuz they running on techno song.. so boost their speed.. *Crapz* so it's a no wonder that they caught up wif us sooo fast. lol...

anywayz, we reach kukup real fast i tink... faster than wat i've expected... but when we alighted frm the van... the 1st thing that greeted us is the stench of fishy smell... one whiff n u noe u can buy lotsa salted fish back if u like 'em (sry i dun... cuz houseflies love 'em).. managed to get used to the smell anyway... =p well... we shopped ard tho din buy much... but i guess by our behaviour.. it's impossible to still let ppl think we're msians.. LOL (we're not but i guess tt's what i like to do when i go other countries esp msia.. act local =X)

wun go into other details le la.. the food there's quite good... tho i wish fer more variety... in terms of seafood... then... other than the houseflies there's nothin much to complain abt.. (yeah veri little mosquitoes! =x) the bbq-ed chicken wings r yummy... cannot find in sg de.. cuz those bbq-ers r so pro... den... lodging is great... many many beds~ =D aircon got fan oso.. choose which u like... got lotsa bathrooms (so no fighting fer bathrooms) n plenty of space.. can cook water oso (hahaa.. duh)... den i guess wat's fun oso is that u can juz walk ard the kampong area n juz explore bah... too bad not enuff time else i wan try walkin back to the mainland... (possible accordin to our guide Dennis)

originally was tinkin can meet js, lj n tk at tampines at ard 5pm.. but end up since tk not convienient to eat outside... so i arranged to meet him at 6pm instead... n told hl she can meet js n lj at tampines earlier since she wans to go earlier.. haa

well the funny thing is.. when i reach there.. the 3 of 'em are waitin for bus 29 at the interchange. lol... well, tk's late haha.. so end up waited fer him still... but when js asked mi exactly where's the chalet.. it dawned on mi that i dun reallie noe oso. =X so after that i msged erik... and he replied "2nd stop after turning in. opp is the long chalet" so abstract =X

well, in the end.. when tk n i were on the bus... and it's raining cats n dogs outside... we realised.. to our horror.. that there's alot of "turnings" -_- so after we're away from the "civilization" we started lookin out fer every 2nd stop after turning... n eventually we arrived.. at the stop (it's the 3rd stop mind u) opp the "long chalet".. haha.. yuckky that it's raining.. lucky i brot my umbrella... and we nearli got tricked by tis uncle of aloha changi that the block we're finding is opp the road?! and end up the chalet is that veri block that's staring at us right in the face when we alighted... o_o felt q. silly... haha.. then got tis lady who's erik's relative which i learnt afterwards... also havin probs finding... n end up we reach there after her... and she's probably tellin the rest of the relatives that she bumped into us also searchin fer the place blah blah.... (i suck at dialects so i can't pick much up from wat she sayin...) ... felt kinda paiseh... quickly went up stairs to hide.. =x
actually the chalet reallie quite big.... shld consider bookin there in future.. got like 3 rooms... toilets got like 2... (toilet bowl n shower room seperate) and most impt... a big living room n KITCHEN!! =x haha sry.. ya i'm veri upset wif chalets not havin kitchen or a proper kitchen.... it's not like everyone wans to bbq one lor...

anyway... after lj passed us her little gifts from hokkaido (thx gal!!!) we went down to eat =p then watched tv ( =S ) until they got abit bored and decided to go upstairs to play mj.. lol.. but due to merv's complains abt mj onli can 4 ppl play... so we decide to play polar bear instead.... but turns out js onli noe mafia n not polar bear.. then tf keep screwin up the narration... so we switched to contact murderer instead~~ well, i remained as one to be killed always... eventually somehow... =s then after all while is cake cuttin le... usual stuff.. sing song, blow candle, take fotos, cut cake, eat cake... lol~ then went up stairs again.. summoned erik to come up for "prize presentation"... but end up in the midst of waiting... one side started mj. the other side started a game of dai dee...

erik came up fer prize presentation after that n some of his frens alreadi planning to get him drunk le.. so after all the presnetation of prezzies... many of us give him a toast... haha. but get to drink bailey's.. so not bad =p then took a couple of grp fotos before leaving.. tink by then he shld hav K.O.ed le.. =x

left wif almost the whole gang.. but half of them took cm's car while the rest of us took bus to tampines to transfer...~ was tokin abt msia on the way back wif hl n tk~ hahaa.. miss playin wif the fire crackers and all sorts of 炮 they have. aye~~

cuz i always caught them trying to squeeze as many chops into one page of the passport as possible when the rest of the passport is like so empty!!! haha.. for people like mi (like wat my mom said) a chop per page is veri much enuff...

anyway, it's such a hot day in msia... *melts* and i found out that there's a hmm rather new? shopping center which i guess kinda reminds mi of vivocity.. aeon tebrau city shoppin center... it looks veri much like a SG shoppin center... price-wise.. also ard the same le.. lol *sweatdrop*

out of frustration that i'm writing this...

even tho i'm not the usual target for mosquitoes (probably due to cold aura or blood type.. watever it is...) when u're the onli one stuck in a room wif one uber hungry mosquito, ur cold aura how strong also it will try to suck some blood out of u...

like to add tt my area has quite abit of aedes mosquitoes... (luckily none of my family members caught the dengue...)

i wish the mosquitoes will drop dead... esp the aedes mos.... die die die!!!

had dinner over at nydc~ ppl got js, lj, xq, erik(who came reel late =x), tk, zn, sm and mi...

their baked pasta is huge n full of cheese.. yum.. (oops i forgot to take a foto!!! argh) then their mudpie's nt bad also...

after tt we head over to tango for strawberry magaritha and shared martinis... ehhh... xq if u're readin tis.. remember send mi fotos hor!!!! and to anyone else who took fotos.. send miiiiiii~~

lame machines?

no... machines do not have legs...

but i finally found out how a machine could be lame... well... at least, a sandwich machine could...
there's this hot toast machine down at the forum below central library which sells hot toast! (duhz) I wanted to try the toast frm this machine since quite sometime ago... and today i finally decided to get down to try it...

the toast i got cost $2... and i'm out of luck cuz i've just used up by $2 note yesterday... so only left with a $10 one... i stared at the machine... no instructions pertaining to change is given except that one won't receive any change if they insert a note and not buy anything... (which means.. i will get change if i buy something rite?) so i happily slot in the $10 note... thinking i'll get my change back in $2 notes... but suddenly, while my sandwich is being toasted... i heard a clank... *stunned* so i squat down to look at the coin dispenser (which dispenses coins in cases of change...) and.... 20 cents came dropping out like nobody's biz... since the coin dispenser is really very small.. i scrambled to dig out all the 20cents the machine spewed.... and only subsequently, 4 50cent coins came out...

wth.... THAT's my change? o_O i remembered that back in primary sch... when i was happily buying a drink off the drink machine when it suddenli start spitting coins out... i was shocked... but.. at least... it feel kinda funny n happy.. cuz it's extra money (and mind u i returned the money to the office ok!!) but this time, i was shocked.. and felt damn ridiculous... cuz it's clearly my change... weI~!~!!! don't even have a one dollar coin ar?!!!?!

so i grabbed that handfull of coins not knowing what to do... can't really count the change also cuz my hands r full... grabbed my sandwich n dumped all the coins in my pocket (thankfully today i wore pants wif pockets...) only count the coins when i reach the LT...

come to think of it... it seems to dispense coins at the smallest denomination.... and since no 10cent coins... issit some poor soul infront of me who tio all the coins??? =S

anyway, if u happen to be a nus peep... dun ever feed the machine a 10 dollar note unless u really wan lotsa change...

had a rather late meeting for my hrm project ydae... met up wif kelly n omy earlier over @ olives n settled our dinner there =p yup... meeting time is offically 7pm

i'll juz say things din start well... at the start... haa.. dunno how to say but ya.. but i guess when after that we got down to writing the script... then things went absolutely..... lame... i'm soooooooo sorry!!! for even suggesting to change the radio into a banana... and the lame idea abt having to keep the banana fresh so that the angels can contact T is *smacks forehead*... (if u're lost, just think about Charlie's Angels... and instead of the angels tokin to the radio... they tok to a banana) and of cuz.. the new name for the new angel seems to crack T up... aka our camera man.. so much that he cldn't take it n we had to change the name to a normal one else things wun progress... is Kikoman Takashimaya reaLLY THAT funny? =x

things went quite smooth after that la... NG... not alot... tho is T laffin half of the time... O_O yup... but ended reel late tho... midnite le... end up trouble T to drive us again... =S

first time i caught an movie that's being made from a manga/anime in a s'pore theatre.. (normally tis kinda stuff can only watch from home)

hope they'll have more of these type man! =D

anyway, caught Death Note: The Last Name wif lj, erik, tk and xq~ over at jurong point's GV i was right... the movie's a hottie.. and i guess almost full house in the cinema =S

and before the show started... (while we're sinking our teeth into our subway sandwiches) they had to show his uber long trailer of this angmo version of ju-on??? (and as if the speaker's not loud enough... people ard also added in to the screaming...)

the movie's not 100% like the manga... but still ok bah.. tho i din quite like the choice of actor for light's role... then.... they din show some funny facts about ryuk!! T_T then misa's show time so short... L's also not v long... otherwise.. ok la..
lookin fwd to part2 of the show~ tho i alreadi noe how issit gonna turn out... but i stil wanna watch.... haa.. and there's a bunch of L fangals sittin right behind my row... squealing at every single action he made... amusing.. haha~

and there'll be Rem in part 2!! yey!! more CGIs.. lolx

a torture not to be able to laugh

i guess to not be able to laugh is the most torturing... rather than not being able to cry or scream... or... watever else there is =x

the project meeting last nite was such a crack... i nearly split my chin from laughing... all thx to T.. luckily omy's there to remind him.. but... she's laffing also leh... =X

laughing is contagious... vERY contagious... chin ar.. heal faster bah... if i hafta hold back on laughing... i will get internal injury soon =X
