a last round of informing on the venue and timing for those whose supposed to turn up. really had to apologise for the last min informing... argh... sry sry!
hmmm.. end up meeting polar bear at white sands at ard 145pm and went to have lunch at cavana... (he say lemme choose cuz he dun wan choose.. but end up he say he prefer swensens. -_-)... that's why i always wan to leave decision making to guys.. else it'll just turn out this way! =S but it's true.. cavana's food nt reallie great.. anyway, polar bear's coughing like mad... really think he shld go drink some herbal tea or wat... haiz.
after lunch went ntuc to buy food... dun reallie noe wat to buy and how many to buy... he keep saying take watever i wan... but i'm not the only one eating wor!
so end up somehow we keep suaning each other but it was not for long then huishan joined us making it 2 vs 1... wahahaa.. =x (was thinkin now if we overdid it cuz he seemed to cough even more...) he keep saying next time cannot ask 2 of us to pei him shop, haha...
so shoppin is done after a while n we headed dwn to downtown east by cab... but the cabbie dropped us at amara there... so end up walkin abit... (n only now i realised polar bear's nt v good at navigation... n hence more suaning =x keke) then they were saying if fred got straight As for his results then he haf to treat everyone there to US trip.. (haaa poor fred... he always kenna tis kind of stuff it seems.. but i reallie wonder if he will get straight As tis time =p)
we headed to the pit..(ended up i leading the way. haha) but the sky decided to drizzle n we brot everything back.. to downtown east there. so instead we went to collect the rest of the food from the caterer who parked at the carpark opp side of downtown east. so qiao! actually saw peixuan there.. hahaa.. learnt tt she havin bbq wif her sec sch frens or perhaps, even a chalet bah.. seems like they ain't carrying much. eh? then shldn't meiyee be there?
then we waited for mingwei to come, he drove there, but the car was kinda rendered useless when polar bear's tinkin of using it to transport the food cuz the car can't go any much further in then where we were waiting anyway... but anyway, 2 extra hands~ better than nothing. so as we wait... the weather threatened to pour.. but so glad it din.. the wind scattered n blew away the black clouds =) mingwei arrived after a while and we carried everything back there... drinks r reallie heavy sia.. then i got scratched by the lousy wire gauss after it poked mw and i took it from him. now it looks like cat scratch. haha
then cuz polarbear n mw went back to buy more charcoal.. while mi n hs chatted abit n gettin bitten by the whole lots of ants there.. reallie alot.. the whole colony... then i started taking out the charcoal to put it into formation... then once they reach, i started the fire... those charcoal r reallie much better! easier to start actually.. dunno last time who say harder. haa

after the 4 of us there, the next grp who came is fred they all, those who went back help the 'open hse' for nus.. then they processed the corn (funny thing is sj ask mi wat to do wif the "embedded corn" cuz it is nt peeled.. -_-) and wrapped it up wif aluminium foil then stare at it... which i concluded they're tryin to cook it lidat..... esp sia...
after that think the nxt who came is desmond i tink.. then hq they all... junxiong came later.. then annie they all n last is chris n merina (2 of them went for like 5 hrs of ktv together.. 2 of them.. they sang shan hu hai like dunno how many times n so on.. siao le. haha)
so.. dunno why end up i'm the "bbq expert" there? it's weird cuz i dun go bbq often.. juz that it's easier to start fire tis time round i tot? then tink bcuz i noe most ppl there so was quite fun~ (n hot also.. ahhh the pit's so hot! i fan myself more than i fan the charcoal... hahaa) so glad for those who came to help out.. n thx mw for entertaining wif his lame suggestions... =_= the food was not bad too.. tho end up still abit too much.. n we gav them to those at the nxt pit.. then charcoal the good ones we shld buy one more box well, water nt enuff =x (always as it seems) and we forgot abt satay sticks. =s and next time never order fried rice fr them le.. so dry..
yup.. so the whole thing went on till ard 1020 lidat.. then we cleared up n left... most of the stuff got polar bear or mw to bring home (since he drove =X)... and mi n annie took mw's car to tampines while zq n roner took it to his hse.. onli realised that roner live like the opp blk fr mw o_o so close. haa (n he also onli found out ydae -_-) ... but the amusing thing is... mw forgot the way back fr costa sands to tampines =x end up making one round before we got there and mi n annie reallie end up bumping into desmond who also went tampines to take 969 but he left wif fred they all who walked to pasir ris station. like annie said.. he even got time to go buy bread before catchin the bus! haa =S
tt's it for now. hahaa.. i wonder if nxt time polar bear stil wanna org or not.. mw say "next time not go restaurant le meh?" haa
