"The Reunion"

despite the not very big involvement from alumnico in this performance, it is definately something different from the past.. and marks a different experience, a different memory

(disclaimer: might be bringing up some sensitive issues around... so sorry~)

what's so different?
- the 1st time i work wif ppl not juz from co... ppl who was from co but never joined alumni... (like bernard)... ppl whom i used to noe... this guy that was from cat high and knew him thru zeyi kor...
- the 1st time polar bear came to watch my perf as my bf? (when u think back it's always kinda weird... cuz my prev concert he was there wif catherine =X haha~ )
- the 1st time gotta sing on stage wif the co peeps
- the 1st time we all tried to dance to old songs..
- the 1st time i played hopscotch... da feng chui wif the co peeps
- the 1st time playing that... pim pom pim pom game wif tk (who veri amusingly keep putting out scissors for dunno how many times in a row once the game is speed up... ok la.. end up i also abit lidat... )
- js n xq? (tho i suspect our dear lia has become the audience more than once)  and many others r no longer part of the performing team...
- the 1st time see chen lao shi join us on stage n sing song.. lol

- wat's more...  it marks the end of playing in CO for tk and jianwei... =s
tk even had a “封胡仪式” 
which ends up involving me cause i lend him my gong since the prev concert...
well, though i'm glad to get my gong back (cuz my hu is so lonely w/o the gong...) budden it's kinda sad that he's not playing anymore...

well... bye bye to the 500+ year old cow spirit from the face of the CO performing world... but we'll be expecting u to contribute in strength n money to the alumni... hahahaa!!

anyway, back to serious topic... on the retirement frm co... actually i also felt abit like retiring... budden i was tinkin.. wldn't it be nice if i can retire after playing fei1 tian1 the last time? that was my no. 1 fav CO song reallie... but i guess it wld be quite impossible to play it wif the full AS gang le bah. =\

anyway, thanks to all those fer supporting the concert in one way or another~
and sry to polar bear fer nt pei-in u after the concert... hope u hav a great time catching up wif ur fren anyway... that goes fer the rest too~

it seems to have been quite sometime that i've came in to blog...

think partly is due to laziness (cuz with so much time constrains.. I think i have better things to do then blogging... haha)
and more importantly... there's nothing much to blog about...
life is now about projects n more projects n fyp n testS~

this semester... haha.. i hope i can end it with something spectacular (that means good results hor.. if u're feeling lame n tinkin of "spectacular" in the other sense... all i can say is... やめってください i.e. stop it.. lol)

anyway... of cuz still hav fun stuff happening ard... but realised i'm taking to little fotos of activities... everyone's getting lazy (despite the upgrade of cam pixels.. which i sadly stil haven't....) oh well =c

shall hope to have more fun after exams.. muahaha... (and you hear people saying.. "shyt, need to get a job".. well same fer mi)

oh well, after seeing L died 3 times (manga + movie + anime) i think i'll let L go back to Heavan soon... and shall go fer another round of blogskin change...

career fair ydae n today~

well i went mainly is ydae bah... met up wif sf, merina, sally, cx n ty (annie joined us when we reached there) at 10am lidat... den headed down...
2 floors worth of exhibition.. wow... and we kinda end up enquiring at almost every booth.. saw qy n her fren n polar bear they all blah blah blah.. ya lotsa ppl!~!

and also lotsa stuff... got tons of phamplets.. then some give souveniers also...

we walked around the whole place.. till 3pm... O_O no lunch still... and hands n legs on the verge of breakin.. so scary... =p

overall quite interesting actually... tho abit =s about the job scope comp engin ppl can do.. hahaa but seems worth a try for some of them? hmmmm den amd booth there got need for speed challenge.... wah... i din dare to try ydae.. today tried... my timing sux... =x that amd guy tending the game one... keep askin mi why my fren no license one can get a much better timing than mi... =s

anyway... i guess i got like tons of ball pens n notebooks.. good enuff to last mi a year + liao

haven't been reallie in the mood fer bloggin recently... caught up wif work (sch) and also trying to squeeze time out to play n slack n slp...

anyway... if any of u who juz arrived here wondered why i shift my blog n so on... dun ask le la... i sick of explaining... hahaa.. dun reallie like the url of the 1st blog anyway....

i'm juz look fwd to the day my prof can stop askin mi to do more stuff for my fyp so i can start on the thesis... grrr.... no time le la... i hope they all can stop assuming i'm not taking other modules / dun hav other commitments and can do the fyp 24hrs a day... =\

hope i can survive till cny...

gaming... is so dangerous!

one of my module's proj is to evaluate tis game tt's allocated to us... neverwinter nights... so end up i installed the game (tho was tinkin i shldn't install) and ended up i spend one whole morning n afternoon playin that game (so long is becuz the character creation took me long enough as it is.. and it's laggy... haiz.. my graphics card reallie cmi)

one of the very reasons why eriol doesn't wanna play comp games... cuz if she gets addicted... she wun stop until she's sick of the game...

come to tink of it.. i haven't played a decent computer game fer sometime... (sry, that few hours of audition doesn't count... hahaa.. n i del that game frm my comp... good riddance)

i finally saw someone!~

it's like after soooo long i finally saw more ppl in a day... haiz... i miss that feeling... to hav a grp of frens to hang out wif in sch...

so it started wif the unearthly 8am lect in the mornin... (ok la.. actually can count as i never reallie see chris n merina they all much oso.. but at least last week saw 'em le) den saw zy... den saw hq... den zf (who went on noc fer one year... n is like 1hr late fer lect)...

den after that.. went to eat lunch wif chris (ya it's earli lunch.. 10am =x) den eat finish le saw ndru.. den after tt i walk chris to her LT.. den i went to walk ard anyhow.. then saw zq, then andy... and sunflower (xy) den sok sang.. hahaa... den while waitin fer sf n merina fer meetin.. then annie came along wif merina~ haa.. den while sittin there supposedly discussin the project (more like digressing away on other stuff all the time) saw polar bear too.. and his gang of frens after a while later..

haiz... chris end of tis month bdae leh.. but it's a wed... i wonder can i skip prac fer once n go eat wif 'em =X

now i dunno how much effort i nid put in for the final exams... running out of time leh... n that module for sure can't be on top priority de (cuz of fyp...)

1st battle - school is not school w/o frens~~!!

despite today being an exam day... i was in one of my happier mood before entering the exam hall and after exiting the exam hall (not due to the paper mind u...)

cuz i'm surrounded by almost everyone i noe~!!~!! many frens whom i dun see up to like 10 times thru out this whole sem~ <3 guess i really miss them... so i went hyper n waved frantically at everyone.. tink i got abit too loud oso.. oopz =X nxt sem.. if possible... i wanna get a module which everyone is taking... (or mebbe the majority will do...)

as fer the paper... dun tok abt it le... -_-

anyway, managed to grab &dru n jh fer lunch... for like.. the 1st time tis semester... -_-
well, i guess ppl all change over time... but seems like &dru changed quite abit... 2 yrs ago u'll hear him going "yeah A+!"... now he'll question us and himself "are the results still important?"

officially~~ today's the last day of sch fer mi...

prof alan actually brot his PS 2 to show us the graphics in games... one thing abt his lect.. he always got many stuff to show us.. hahaha

(despite that i was tinkin of killin him over lab 5 juz the prev sunday... =X)

but ya... nvm... lol shall not tink abt killin him anymore.. (since i manage to finish the lab le..)

dunno wat to say liao... shyt exams r coming.. so is my fyp presentation.... sian...

so... tis'll prolly be my last entry until then..... bah?

lame machines?

no... machines do not have legs...

but i finally found out how a machine could be lame... well... at least, a sandwich machine could...
there's this hot toast machine down at the forum below central library which sells hot toast! (duhz) I wanted to try the toast frm this machine since quite sometime ago... and today i finally decided to get down to try it...

the toast i got cost $2... and i'm out of luck cuz i've just used up by $2 note yesterday... so only left with a $10 one... i stared at the machine... no instructions pertaining to change is given except that one won't receive any change if they insert a note and not buy anything... (which means.. i will get change if i buy something rite?) so i happily slot in the $10 note... thinking i'll get my change back in $2 notes... but suddenly, while my sandwich is being toasted... i heard a clank... *stunned* so i squat down to look at the coin dispenser (which dispenses coins in cases of change...) and.... 20 cents came dropping out like nobody's biz... since the coin dispenser is really very small.. i scrambled to dig out all the 20cents the machine spewed.... and only subsequently, 4 50cent coins came out...

wth.... THAT's my change? o_O i remembered that back in primary sch... when i was happily buying a drink off the drink machine when it suddenli start spitting coins out... i was shocked... but.. at least... it feel kinda funny n happy.. cuz it's extra money (and mind u i returned the money to the office ok!!) but this time, i was shocked.. and felt damn ridiculous... cuz it's clearly my change... weI~!~!!! don't even have a one dollar coin ar?!!!?!

so i grabbed that handfull of coins not knowing what to do... can't really count the change also cuz my hands r full... grabbed my sandwich n dumped all the coins in my pocket (thankfully today i wore pants wif pockets...) only count the coins when i reach the LT...

come to think of it... it seems to dispense coins at the smallest denomination.... and since no 10cent coins... issit some poor soul infront of me who tio all the coins??? =S

anyway, if u happen to be a nus peep... dun ever feed the machine a 10 dollar note unless u really wan lotsa change...

arghh.. life's turning lame

prolly at my lamest days

had a rather late meeting for my hrm project ydae... met up wif kelly n omy earlier over @ olives n settled our dinner there =p yup... meeting time is offically 7pm

i'll juz say things din start well... at the start... haa.. dunno how to say but ya.. but i guess when after that we got down to writing the script... then things went absolutely..... lame... i'm soooooooo sorry!!! for even suggesting to change the radio into a banana... and the lame idea abt having to keep the banana fresh so that the angels can contact T is *smacks forehead*... (if u're lost, just think about Charlie's Angels... and instead of the angels tokin to the radio... they tok to a banana) and of cuz.. the new name for the new angel seems to crack T up... aka our camera man.. so much that he cldn't take it n we had to change the name to a normal one else things wun progress... is Kikoman Takashimaya reaLLY THAT funny? =x

things went quite smooth after that la... NG... not alot... tho is T laffin half of the time... O_O yup... but ended reel late tho... midnite le... end up trouble T to drive us again... =S

a torture not to be able to laugh

i guess to not be able to laugh is the most torturing... rather than not being able to cry or scream... or... watever else there is =x

the project meeting last nite was such a crack... i nearly split my chin from laughing... all thx to T.. luckily omy's there to remind him.. but... she's laffing also leh... =X

laughing is contagious... vERY contagious... chin ar.. heal faster bah... if i hafta hold back on laughing... i will get internal injury soon =X

i guess i juz wun hav enuff of breaks la... tis morning got prob waking up...luckily got to sch in time still =S

bump into ivan again tis morning.. nowadays seems to bump into him every alt tues (odd wk) then even wk wed will hav the same tutorial as him... takin the same gem module.. but tutorial is like bi-weekly? like 70% of the class ppl i still dun reallie noe lor... even ivan... my knowledge of him is simply superficial...anyway, the funny thing is... i was smiling at him (lazy din raise my hand to wave hi).. then the guy sitting infront of him on the bus smiled back... o_o eh... mebbe it's someone else bah.. but when i looked back later i dun seem to register anyone that the guy mite know... hahaa.. funny...

anyway... today's lessons r quite ok... lunch ate the middle east stall again~ tried the.... hulunum???? wif arab bread + a samosa... not bad wor... tho it tasted more indian.. hahaha then terence started feeling guilty again cuz mi n omy seem to be eatin q. little =X

it's always nice to hav frens to eat lunch wif reallie... and i guess luckily tis sem i'm stil able to do that most of the time bah....
